Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a dedicated Care Provider to assist residents with daily living activities and provide compassionate support to enhance independence and quality of life. The role emphasizes dignity, safety, and clear communication with the care team.

Experience is preferred but not required, and training will be provided. Candidates must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED, and must pass background and health screenings to protect residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
• Oakmont Management Group may require vaccination and periodic health/safety screenings per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per resident care plan, including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected changes in resident condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents’ independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.
