Job summary

A First Name Basis (AFNB) is seeking part-time caregivers to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in Picayune, MS. This Direct Support Worker/Patient Care Assistant role offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay to help clients maintain independence at home.

Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, meals, medication reminders, and documenting care per regulations.

Qualifications

• Performs personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, and toileting.
• Provides companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assists with light housekeeping and meal preparation, and feeding when needed.
• Reminds clients about medications and accompanies them to appointments.
• Documents care provided and reports changes per standards and regulations.

$11/hr
