Job summary

Right at Home Southern NH is urgently hiring caregivers to support aging adults in Rochester and surrounding towns. You’ll provide personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation and safe transportation.

Qualifications

• Have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for work
• 18 years old minimum
• Comfort with housekeeping, companionship, and light personal care
• Able to lift 10-50 lb
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Must pass pre-employment background checks, health and drug screenings, and professional reference checks

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for clients (bathing, grooming, mobility assistance)
• Assist with housekeeping and daily living tasks (meal prep, laundry, errands)
• Offer companionship and transportation to appointments or activities
• Support clients with mobility, safety, and dignity during daily routines
• Contribute to a positive, respectful client experience

Pay

$19.00-$22.00 per hour weekends depending on experience.

A TYPICAL DAY AS A CAREGIVER:

Caregivers provide personal care for their clients. This could include (but is not limited to):

• Light Housekeeping - mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dishes, taking out the trash/recycling
• Assisting with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair)
• Assist with everyday living tasks (moving, meal preparation, eating, dressing, shaving)
• Provide Companionship to your client (running errands and/or providing transportation to appointments, grocery store, or just to get some fresh air).
• Give back to those who need you most (our clients need you now more than ever before)!

Caregiver Requirements:

• Have a valid driver’s license and use of an automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
• 18 years old minimum.
• Must be comfortable with housekeeping, companionship, and light personal care.
• Able to lift 10-50/lb.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Must pass pre-employment background checks, health and drug screenings, and professional reference checks.
