Job summary

AdvisaCare is hiring Home Health Aides to provide private duty, in-home care for clients in the Grand Rapids/Alto area. You will deliver compassionate, one-on-one support and assist with activities of daily living in clients' homes.

We offer 401K, medical benefits for hourly employees after 30+ hours, PTO, flexible scheduling, weekly pay, orientation, and 24/7 staffing support. A reliable team player with CPR, a valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the service area is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and a team player.
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel within the service area.
• Ability to pass a drug screen/background check.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with bathing
• Slide board transfers
• Range of Motion ( approx 15 minutes)
• Commode assistance
• Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
• Light housework duties (cooking/cleaning as needed)
• Drive Handicap van as needed (client may drive)

Caregiver would be responsible for:

• Assistance with bathing
• Slide board Transfers
• Range of Motion ( Approx 15 minutes)
• Commode assistance
• ADL's
• Light housework duty (Cleaning, assistance with cooking as needed)
• Driving Handicap van as needed, typically client can drive themself.

Must be reliable and a Team Player!

• High School Graduate or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Valid Driver’s License
• Able to work independently with integrity
• Good communication skills
• Ability to travel within the service area
• CPR Certified
• Ability to pass a drug screen/clear background
