Job summary

Glen Park Senior Living in Monrovia seeks compassionate caregivers to assist residents with daily living activities and to maintain a clean, supportive environment where they can thrive.

As Direct Care Staff, you will support daily living activities, help with nutrition and personal care, and participate in an engaging, resident-centered lifestyle with ongoing training and adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Live-Scan Fingerprint Clearance required.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required.
• Negative TB Test and Health Screening required.
• In-person work location at Glen Park at Monrovia, 110 N Mountain Ave, Monrovia, CA 91016.
• On-Call shift availability requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide Daily Living Support for bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
• Assist with meals and snacks during mealtimes.
• Engage residents in the facility's Activities Program to enhance quality of life.
• Attend monthly and quarterly in-services, totaling about one hour per month, twelve hours per year.
• Maintain current CPR/First Aid training and certifications.

Glen Park Senior Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to assist our residents in daily living activities, creating a supportive, healthy environment where they can thrive.

Job Summary:
As a Direct Care Staff member, you will assist elderly residents, convalescents, and individuals with disabilities in a care facility setting. Your responsibilities will include supporting daily living activities, helping to maintain a clean living environment, and participating in the nutritional, personal care, and social aspects of our residents' lives. You may also offer advice to residents and their families on nutrition, cleanliness, and household activities to help support a fulfilling lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Living Support: Provide assistance with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.


• Meal Assistance: Help serve meals at mealtimes and snacks as needed.


• Activities Program Participation: Engage in and support the facility’s Activities Program to enhance residents' quality of life.


• Ongoing Training: Attend monthly and quarterly in-services provided by the facility, totaling one hour per month and twelve hours per year.


• Certifications: Maintain current CPR and First Aid training.

For Residents with Developmental Disabilities:

• Align performance with the facility’s Program Design.


• Complete specialized training for working with these residents.


• Achieve goals outlined in each resident's Individual Program Plan (IPP).


• Maintain detailed progress notes to track accomplishments of IPP objectives.
