A leading long-term care provider in New Albany is seeking a Resident Care Associate to provide general services to residents in assisted living environments. This role includes assisting with daily living activities, meal service, and ensuring comfort. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and ideally some experience. Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal.
• Provide resident assistance with activities of daily living, including hygiene care.
• Assist with all aspects of meal service, including transportation to dining room.
• Answer residents' call lights promptly.
• Ensure frequent checks on residents who cannot call for help.
• Assist clinical staff in making residents comfortable.
• Carry out personal care responsibilities as per state guidelines.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non‑certified routine services in accordance with the established procedures and may be directed by your supervisors. This role specifically supports our Assisted Living, AL Memory Care and Independent Living residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists with housekeeping and laundry services including but not limited to, trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
• Provides resident assistance with activities of daily living including but not limited to hygiene care, incontinence assistance, bathing & grooming.
• Assists with all aspects of meal service including but not limited to, transportation of residents to and from dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring great dining experience.
• Answer residents call lights promptly.
• Ensures that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
• Assists clinical staff to make residents comfortable (i.e., check sitting position, hydration passing, etc.)
• Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
