Position Overview

Job Summary

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) provides general non-certified routine services according to established procedures and under supervision.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and changing unoccupied beds.
• Support meal service, including transportation of residents, tray delivery, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights.
• Check on residents unable to call for help regularly.
• Assist with 1:1 observations as assigned.
• Communicate with Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse regarding resident condition changes, concerns, and grievances.
• Provide excellent customer service, companionship, and engagement in activities.
• Help clinical staff make residents comfortable, e.g., checking sitting positions, hydration.
• Assist with personal care responsibilities following regulatory guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
