Job summary

Oakmont Management Group’s Ivy Park at Salinas is seeking a compassionate Care Provider for overnight shifts (Fri–Mon, 10pm–6am) to assist residents with daily living activities and maintain a safe, respectful environment. You will respond quickly to needs, document changes, and work closely with the team to deliver five-star service.

Experience is welcome but not required; applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and pass background checks and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, walking, continence).
• Respond to residents’ needs promptly while safeguarding dignity and confidentiality.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.

• Respond to residents needs promptly while maintaining residents self respect dignity safety and confidentiality
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff residents and guests following established safety standards
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co workers and other departments
