Job summary

Amada Senior Care North Shore is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our team. The role focuses on assisting seniors with daily living activities to ensure comfort, safety, and dignity in their own homes.

On this team, you’ll provide personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and light house cleaning, while monitoring health status and supporting families. We welcome applicants with a minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience or equivalent.
• Valid ID and Social Security Card.
• Driver’s License preferred.

Skills / Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living or senior care environments.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Proficiency in caregiving techniques.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
• Familiarity with home care systems.
• Background in childcare, social work, or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competence in meal preparation for special dietary needs.
• Valid ID and Social Security Card.

What you will be doing

Assisting clients with activities of daily living. Services may include, but are not limited to, activity of daily living support, personal care, bathing/toileting, medication reminding, light housekeeping, personal laundry, cooking, shopping, assistance in getting to and from appointments, maintenance of household records, and companionship.
