Job summary

Hillendale Home Care in the Bay Area is seeking compassionate caregivers and Home Care Aides (CNA, HHA, and experienced in‑home caregivers welcome) to support seniors in their own homes. We offer flexible schedules with 4-, 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, including day, evening, overnight, and live‑in options, with strong staffing support.

Earn $19–$23 per hour plus paid holidays, sick leave, and overtime. Benefits include health coverage and 401(k) eligibility, paid orientation and on‑the‑job

Qualifications

• Home Care Services Bureau (HCSB) registration required or we will assist with the process.
• Current TB test and ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Bilingual language skills are valued and can expand client opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and medication reminders.
• Plan meals and assist with preparation.
• Light housekeeping and laundry, companionship and transportation as needed.

What you'll earn

What you'll do

Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home by providing:

• Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Mobility and transfer assistance

• Meal planning and preparation

• Companionship and emotional support
• Transportation or accompaniment to appointments and errands

What we’re looking for

We're looking for caregivers who are compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional care.

Qualifications include:

• Home Care Services Bureau (HCSB) registration (we'll guide you through the process if needed)
• Current TB test
• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Bilingual caregivers are encouraged to apply. Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, and other language skills are highly valued and often lead to additional client opportunities.
