Position Summary

The Caregiver provides compassionate, dependable, person-centered support to clients in their homes and communities. This role assists with daily living activities, personal care, companionship, homemaking, and safety support based on each client's individualized care plan. The ideal caregiver is patient, reliable, respectful, and committed to helping others maintain independence and quality of life. Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including assistance with dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, mobility, positioning, and transfers.
• Assist with daily routines that support client comfort, independence, and dignity.
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement to reduce isolation and support emotional well-being.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, errands, and other homemaker tasks as assigned.
• Support safe mobility, including walking, transferring, turning, positioning, and use of approved assistive equipment when appropriate.
• Provide medication reminders or assistance with pre-dosed medications within role guidelines and applicable regulations.
• Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior, needs, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow each client's individualized care plan and document services accurately and timely.
• Maintain client confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries.
• Communicate respectfully with clients, families, supervisors, and care team members.
• Promote a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for every person supported.
