Job summary

Ellore Senior Living is seeking a Care Provider for Memory Care to support residents with daily living activities and individualized care. The role emphasizes dignity, safety, and compassionate service on-site at our California community.

The position requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and dependable customer service. Training will be provided, and adherence to safety and health guidelines is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with staff, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (physical and TB).
• Vaccination/testing and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to resident needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Report observed changes in residents’ condition to supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.

Pay Range: $20-21/hr

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents’ independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications:

• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
