Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Caregiver in Virginia to provide hands-on support and build meaningful relationships with residents. You will assist with daily activities, follow individualized plans, promote safety and dignity, and engage residents in conversations and activities.

Responsibilities include supporting dining services, maintaining a clean environment, and effective communication with families and care leaders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• Create enriching experiences for Memory Care residents.
