Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care - Northern Utah is seeking caring individuals to join our in-home care team. No prior caregiving experience is required, but reliability, empathy and a strong work ethic are essential. We offer flexible shifts and a supportive family environment.

You will provide personal care, medication reminders, mobility support and companionship. CNA certification is helpful but not required; comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship are provided.

Responsibilities

• Be a genuine and supportive companion.

• Plan and prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.

Job Duties

• Be a genuine and supportive companion
• Personal care
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with walking, mobility and physical therapy exercises
• Accompany clients to doctor’s appointments, store etc.
• Plan and prepare meals
• Alzheimer/Dementia care assistance
• Perform light housekeeping

• Minimum Of One-year Professional Experience Working With Seniors.
• Examples: In-home care, Independent/Assisted living/Memory care community, Hospital and Rehab
• Ability to pass a background check
• Current TB or Chest X-ray; Current CPR Certification (both due upon hire)
• Reliable transportation

Hours:

Dependent on assignment; Shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and based on availability. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
