Job summary

PurposeCare is seeking a Home Service Worker / Caregiver in De Kalb, MO to provide compassionate, personalized in-home support. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, prepare meals, and offer emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

The role involves teamwork with families and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, dignified care and continuity of services. Experience in caregiving, ability to pass background checks, and strong communication are required.

• LIVE In-Home Service Worker 4 or 3 days, 12 hour shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Administer medication reminders and monitor health, report changes to healthcare professionals or family.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment including light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, or errands.
• Document care provided and communicate with the care team to ensure continuity.

About the Role

The Home Service Worker / Caregiver position at Park Ridge is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. Job Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Administer medication reminders and monitor clients’ health conditions, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation and promote mental well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
