One You Love Homcare in Lake Zurich, IL seeks a compassionate caregiver to provide non-medical in-home support, companionship, and daily living assistance. This role helps clients maintain independence and dignity in their own homes.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments. Strong interpersonal skills and reliable transportation are essential for success in this position.

Formación

• Experience in caregiving or home care is a plus.
• State certification/license in good standing, if required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.

Schedule / Expected Work Hours:

• Looking for Caregiver in the Lake Zurich, IL area for total of 6 hrs a day (split shift - 4 hrs - Morning, 2 hrs - Evening)
• 7 days a week

Job Summary

• As a caregiver, you will provide essential non-medical assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity. The role of a caregiver includes companionship, personal care support, assistance with daily living activities, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, proof of insurance (if required for client transport)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
• Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical transfers.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
