Job summary

ComForCare is hiring in-home caregivers in Danbury, CT to help seniors maintain independence in their own homes. You will provide personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping while following care plans, with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends and ongoing training.

This is a meaningful role with opportunities to advance within the company. No prior experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience is not necessary; willingness to learn.
• We welcome Personal Care Assistants, Home Health Aides, or Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be reliable with a strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism.
• Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Helping clients safely transfer and ambulate.
• Meal preparation and assistance with feeding.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship and conversation.
• Transportation to appointments and errands (when applicable).
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to the care team.
