Job summary

Griswold Home Care of Ocean County is seeking caring caregivers, CHHAs, and CNAs to join our team in Ocean County, New Jersey. This part-time, hourly role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to make a real difference helping clients at home.

We provide ongoing training, including CHHA training, and a supportive care team. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, plus a background check; availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Monitor client condition and report changes.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Light housekeeping to maintain a clean home.
• Engage clients with activities and companionship.
• Document care and communicate with the care team.
• Follow policies and state/federal regulations.

Job Summary:

Griswold Home Care, a leading provider of in-home care services, has immediate openings for Caregivers, CHHAs, and CNAs in Ocean County. This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical field, located in Ocean County, New Jersey. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and quality care to clients in their homes. Compensation & Benefits:

The compensation for this position ranges from $ 23.00 to $26.00 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, eligible employees will have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Monitor clients' care and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties
• Help prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
• Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship
• Maintain documentation and communicate regularly with the care team
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, related to caregiving and client care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in caregiving or a related role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to undergo a background check
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
