Job summary

Home Matters Caregiving in Houston is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide quality in-home support for seniors. You will execute care plans, assist with daily living activities, and ensure client safety while fostering strong relationships with clients and families.

Each caregiver will join a supportive team, receive orientation, and work in client homes across the Houston area. Weekend and flexible shifts available; starting pay is competitive and based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience with seniors
• Must pass a background check
• Must have reliable transportation, driver's license and car insurance

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply)
• Must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience with the senior population
• Must have sufficient communication and language skills to effectively perform duties
• Must pass a background check
• Must have reliable trasportation, drivers license and car insurance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute client care plans and document daily activities
• Assist clients with activities of daily living
• Provide clients with household assistance: food preparation, monitoring home safety, laundering, light housekeeping
• Provide clients with personal care assistance: hygienic care, mobility assistance, medication assistance, companionship

REQUIREMENTS:

• Schedule: Consistent and flexible shifts
• Experience: One year of formal caregiving experience in senior care

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to lift 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movements
• Able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers
• Able to talk, hear and see
• Physically and mentally able to drive a vehicle
