Job summary

Right at Home Alameda is urgently seeking a warm, reliable Home Care Aide to support clients in their homes across the Oakland area. This part-time role offers flexible morning and afternoon shifts, competitive pay, and opportunities to give meaningful daily assistance.

You’ll assist with light housekeeping, personal care, meal prep, and transportation while following care plans and reporting changes. A California-registered Home Care Aide and a valid driver’s license are preferred, with mileage

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Home Care Aide with the State of California.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Willing to travel to client homes.
• Reliable transportation, vehicle with insurance preferred.
• Caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with light housekeeping and personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, toileting).
• Prepare meals and assist with transportation to appointments.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
• Follow care plans and report changes to family or supervisor.
