Job summary

Dahlia Home Care in Fresno, CA is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team as Home Care Aides. You will provide in-home care per the client’s care plan, supporting daily living tasks with empathy and respect.

Part-time and full-time positions available with a flexible schedule. Must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience and CDSS HCA registration; TB test; CPR/First Aid appreciated; reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable caregiving experience.
• HCA registration with CDSS is required.
• TB test is required.
• CPR and First Aid training is appreciated.
• Reliable transportation is needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care per the individual care plan.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Support transfers and mobility.
• Prepare or heat meals and assist with feeding.
• Medication reminders.
• Maintain a clean, orderly environment with light housekeeping.
• Accompany client to medical appointments and other errands.
• Encourage clients to do as much of their own care as possible.

Job description

You will be providing care in the patient’s home in accordance with their individual care plan.

Responsibilities may include:

• Bathing
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Transfers
• Feeding
• Preparing or heating up meals
• Medication reminders
• Maintain a clean, and orderly environment for the individual by completing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Accompany client to medical appointments and other errands.
• Allowing and encouraging clients to do as much of their own care as possible.

Requirements

Part‑time and full‑time positions are available starting at $16.90-$18.00 per hr based on experience.
