Job summary

Home Instead is seeking a dedicated Caregiver in Chicago to provide compassionate care to seniors. You’ll join a supportive team, leveraging leading caregiver technology, scheduling tools, and weekly pay with benefits for eligible employees.

Responsibilities include companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and personal care, with comprehensive training and 24/7 office support to back you up. Growth opportunities are available within the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months paid caregiving experience (non-family) or valid CNA/HHA/LVN/LPN/RN certification.
• Willing to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s).
• Basic English speaking/reading/writing abilities; bilingual/multilingual encouraged.

• Foster relationships with clients through companionship and compassionate caregiving.
• Assist with meal preparation and perform light housekeeping duties.
• Provide personal care services, including grooming, bathing, restroom use, and managing incontinence.
