PurposeCare seeks compassionate In-Home Caregivers to support clients at home. Paid training and orientation are provided, with opportunities for full-time or part-time roles and competitive pay starting at $19/hour, up to $23/hour.

Caregivers assist with daily living activities, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and safety monitoring, while documenting care and communicating with the care team. Join our mission to bring healthcare home.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Proven experience or training in personal care or home health.
• Clear and professional communication including phone skills.
• Pass background check and a competency skills check.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within the Aurora Homecare service area.
• Follow written care instructions and document services.
• Compassion, patience, and professionalism with vulnerable populations.
• Ability to work independently in home settings.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to maintain personal hygiene and comfort.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor clients for adverse reactions or changes in condition, reporting concerns to supervisors or healthcare providers.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
• Answer phones and communicate effectively with clients, family members, and provide updates to the office.
• Respond promptly to emergencies by administering basic first aid or CPR as needed and contacting emergency services.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation and promote mental well‑being.

The Caregiver plays a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
