Job summary

Senior Helpers in the United States is seeking caring, dependable caregivers to provide in-home assistance to aging clients in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. You will deliver personal care, companionship, and daily living support in clients' homes, helping maintain independence and quality of life with respect and empathy.

As part of our team, you will follow care plans, document changes, communicate with families, and participate in ongoing training and certification opportunities through Relias.

Qualifications

• Dependable, compassionate caregiver with credible references.
• Ability to provide in-home assistance and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home care and companionship to clients.
• Assist with ADLs and mobility as needed.
• Provide meal prep, light housework, and transportation support.
• Document daily care activities and report changes.
• Follow care plans and communicate with family and supervisor.

Essential Functions

• Delivering exceptional care to the client in their home
• Complete all daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs)
• Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client and their families
• Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and reporting changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability, or behavior
• Assist with personal care activities including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding, and meal preparation
