Job summary

A Place At Home Inland Empire West in Jurupa Valley is seeking an in-home caregiver to provide compassionate elderly care, personal support, medication reminders, and companionship in clients’ homes.

Shifts include two split blocks, starting around 9–10 am and 6–7 pm, totaling 42 hours per week with 6 days. You’ll join a supportive team focused on dignity, independence, and high-quality care.

Starting pay is $18–$20 per hour, with 401k, training, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Registered with the Guardian Registry.
• Must have a current, valid TB test.
• Must provide professional references that verify caregiving work experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and professional in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home care, including personal care, medication management, and companionship.
• Foster a nurturing and supportive environment, promoting the comfort, independence, and dignity of our clients.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs, enabling seniors to remain engaged and active in their communities.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families, offering emotional support and companionship.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop personalized care plans that address the specific needs and preferences of each client.
• Previous experience as an in-home caregiver or a genuine passion for providing compassionate care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic approach to caregiving.
• Knowledge and understanding of elderly care, senior care, and patient care principles.
• Reliability, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.
• Flexibility and adaptability to cater to the unique needs of each client.

Jurupa Valley Area. 2 Split shifts!

Starting 9 or 10 am 3 hours a day Monday through Sunday.

Second shift start at 6 or 7 pm 3 hours a day Monday through Sunday.

6 hours x 7 days 42 hours in total.
