Job summary

Safe and Sound Home Care in Hernando, Mississippi is seeking an Overnight Caregiver to work three nights a week. You will provide one-on-one personal care, assist with daily living activities, monitor safety, and support clients in their home environments.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, with availability for night and weekend shifts. Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care is preferred, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by tending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors' appointments, walks, etc.).
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency.
• Offer activities essential for daily living by assisting patients with meal preparation, including serving and other tasks if necessary.
