Job summary

Hope Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Caregiver) to provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals in our residential and rehabilitation programs. This role helps people develop daily living skills, maintain health and safety, and participate in their communities with dignity and independence.

You will assist with daily living, accompany individuals on community outings, provide medication support, and contribute to a safe, supportive environment while building

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist individuals.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends.
• Ability to pass required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support people with personal care and daily routines.
• Help individuals learn new skills and become more independent.
• Provide medication support and assist with health-related needs.
• Participate in community outings, appointments, and transportation.
• Create a safe, positive environment and build relationships.
• Keep simple documentation of services provided.
• Work as part of a team to help individuals achieve goals.
