Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA, seeks a Caregiver Health RN for per-diem, 08-hour day shifts. The Employee Health Nurse conducts pre-employment and annual physicals, coordinates work-related injury claims, and leads flu vaccination and fit-test programs.

Under supervision, the role interfaces with the TPA and Employee Assistance Program to support a healthy, safe workforce and uphold Providence's patient-centered care culture.

Qualifications

• California RN license required at hire.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) at hire.
• Minimum 6 months experience as Staff RN, RNP, or PA.

Caregiver Health RN - Caregiver Health at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 08-hour, Day shifts.

Under the general supervision of Manager of Employee Health Office, the Employee Health Nurse conducts pre-employment and annual employee physicals, assists in the processing of claims for work-related injuries and coordinates any necessary treatment, interacts with third-party administrator (TPA) and provides required assistance with investigation and documentation. The Employee Health Nurse also assists with the coordination of the Transitional Work Program, interfaces with the Employee Assistance Program to ensure maximum utilization by employees. The Employee Health Nurse is the lead coordinator of the flu vaccination and fit test programs.

Required Qualifications

• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months Staff RN, RNP, or PA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, or
• Associate's Degree
• Upon hire: Certified Occupational Health Nurse
• 6 months Employee Health.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
