Job summary

Sage Eldercare Solutions is hiring a Personal Care Attendant to provide compassionate in-home care to seniors, following care plans and supporting quality of life.

You’ll assist with daily activities, light housekeeping, and meal prep, while building meaningful relationships with clients and communicating with the Home Care Manager. Experience with dementia and a valid driver’s license are required.

What you’ll do:

• Provide personal care assistance and companionship to your assigned client
• Promote your client's quality of life through meaningful activity and/or conversation
• Provide light housekeeping and meal prep; Transportation as appropriate
• Follow care plans/instructions; communicate all changes and concerns with the Sage Home Care Manager
• Complete an electronic daily shift report
• Comply with Sage Eldercare’s Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.

Who you are:

• Must have at least one year of experience working with a Home Care agency
• Must have experience working with Dementia clients
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet the organization’s auto insurance requirements. Occasional transport of client(s) is required.
• Must be passionate about working with seniors to improve their quality of life

Compensation:

The anticipated base compensation for this position is up to $34.50/HR

Day Shifts generally take place sometime between 7am-7pm (this is a range, shifts vary)

An example of a short day shift would be 8am-3pm or 7am-4pm.

Night Shifts take place sometime between 7pm-7am (this is a range, shifts vary)

Our night shifts are always overnight, we do not offer PM shifts, such as 3pm-10pm.
