Job summary

Oakmont of Chino Hills is seeking a caring Care Provider to assist residents with daily living activities in a premier senior living community. Training is provided, and no previous experience is required beyond a willingness to help and a compassionate attitude.

Shifts vary, pay starts at $16.90–$17.50 per hour based on experience, with an array of benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, retirement plans, and more. Oakmont Management Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Desire to work with elderly and provide compassionate care.
• Must pass background and health screenings including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) as per the care plan.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Notify supervisor of any changes in residents' condition.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
• Promote teamwork and positive interactions across departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident's service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
