Job summary

FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia is seeking caring individuals to join our team as caregivers in Kingsland, GA. This role focuses on personalized in-home support to help seniors maintain independence and a higher quality of life.

You will collaborate with families and adapt to Full-Time, Part-Time, or On-Call schedules to meet client needs, delivering companionship, personal care, meal prep, and light housekeeping in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dependable, with a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong communication to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Able to work independently in a client's home environment.
• Reliable transportation to meet clients at their locations.
• Ability to meet applicable background check requirements.
• Have experience as a caregiver or in a related field.
• Possess certifications in CPR or first aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation.
• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Remind clients to take medications on schedule.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation for errands or appointments.
• Support clients with daily activities to foster their independence.

As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with families to help maintain the independence and quality of life for seniors. Whether you work Full-Time, Part-Time, or On-Call, you'll have the flexibility to create a schedule that works for you and meets client needs.
