Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, based in Irvine, California, operates Ivy Park communities and is committed to high-quality senior living. The Care Provider role offers personal assistance and daily care to residents, promoting independence and a meaningful daily life.

With no strict experience requirement, Oakmont provides training for the right candidate. Candidates must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and pass background checks and health screenings as part of our standards.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Able to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Must pass background check and health screening tests, including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident's care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and continence.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents' independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company's mission and values.

• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
