Job summary

Ivy Park at Tustin is a premier senior living community seeking a dedicated Care Provider for full-time evening hours (10 PM–6 AM). You will assist residents with daily living activities, promote dignity and safety, and coordinate with a compassionate team to maintain a high standard of care.

Ideal candidates will have a genuine desire to support seniors, be at least 18 years old, and complete background and health screenings. Training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and residents.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (TB, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Report observed changes in resident condition to supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperative interaction with coworkers and other departments.

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents’ independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
