Job summary

Ivy Park at Livermore, a premier senior living community, seeks a Care Provider to assist residents with daily living and support independence. The role emphasizes compassion, dignity, and safety while delivering daily care as outlined in care plans.

You'll join a team dedicated to five-star service, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, paid time off, life insurance, retirement plan, and employee assistance. Training is provided for non-experienced applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but training available for the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and meet their needs.
• Able to communicate effectively with staff, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening including TB test.
• Vaccination and PPE requirements may apply per regulatory guidelines.

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents� independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company�s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications:

• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
