Job summary

A home care service provider in Thousand Oaks is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist clients in their homes. Responsibilities include helping with daily activities, personal care, and meal preparation. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and a passion for helping others. Previous caregiving experience is a plus. This role offers flexible scheduling with shifts available in the late afternoon and weekends, ensuring that caregivers are well-supported and respected in their roles.

• Home Care Aide certification preferred but not mandatory for the initial interview.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver in homes or senior communities is a bonus.

We are looking for caregivers to work Monday through Sunday from 4pm to 8pm. Also, caregivers to work on Saturdays from 6:30am to 2:00pm.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

What we’re looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Home Care Aide (HCA) certification required but not necessary for initial interview
• Covid 19 Vaccination preferred
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver in homes or senior communities is a bonus.
