Job summary

Chrysalis is seeking a Caregiver to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community in Davis and Weber counties. You will help with daily living, outings, meal prep, budgeting, activity planning, and promoting independence while receiving training and opportunities to advance.

Must be at least 21, pass a background check and drug test, and have a valid driver’s license or be able to provide a current MVR. Residency in Utah preferred.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Able to pass a drug test and background check.
• No prior experience with disabilities required; training provided.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or be able to provide a current MVR.

Responsibilities

• Teach individuals how to cook a meal and assist with budgeting.
• Model appropriate behaviors and support independence.
• Participate in community activities and outings.
• Help individuals stay physically active and exercise.
• Provide care in clients' homes and during community activities.
