BAYADA Home Health Care on the Big Island seeks a dedicated Personal Care Aide to support clients in their homes according to a nurse-approved plan of care. You will assist with activities of daily living, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation around Hawaii, helping clients stay safe and independent.

No experience? We will train you. We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, and a caring team that values compassion, reliability, and patient dignity.

We are currently recruiting for a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to reliably serve patients on the Big Island in Hilo, Kurtistown, Pahoa and Honomu with BAYADA’s Assistive Care Division.

What you’ll do:

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

As a BAYADA Caregiver, you’ll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help themwith:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Running errands for clients
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders

• Previous home health care or patient care preferred, but not required. We will train you!

• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

Requirements:

No experience, no problem! We will Train you to become a Home Health Aide

• Minimum one-year work verifiable experience
• Or a CNA certification
• Current driver’s license and car required
