Job summary

Homecare Heroes of Texas in Fort Worth is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well‑being in daily life.

You will assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals), monitor health, administer basic medications as directed, and maintain a clean, organized home environment while upholding HIPAA privacy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Basic knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring safety.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals).
