Job summary

Chrysalis is seeking to hire a Caregiver in Utah County to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at home and in the community. You will help them become more independent, have fun, and build relationships through daily activities and outings.

The role offers a starting pay of $15.00–$17.75 per hour depending on experience, plus benefits such as PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Background check required
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must meet Chrysalis driving requirements
• Capable of communicating well in English (verbal and written)
• Able to complete all assigned documentation accurately and on time
• Good judgment and crisis handling ability
• Positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Teach an individual how to cook a meal
• Aid in budgeting and planning
• Model appropriate behaviors
• Attend fun activities such as going to the movies, bowling, car rides, zoo visits, sporting events, video games, etc.
• Help individuals stay physically active and exercise
