Zita Group of Company, Inc is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/Direct Support Specialist to assist clients with daily living activities, including hygiene, light housekeeping, and community activities. The role involves medication administration (CMT) and strict documentation of vitals and treatments to support client well-being.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of direct care experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities, and holds a valid First Aid/CPR and CMT certification.

Qualifications

• DDA Training or employer will provide training.
• 2+ years’ experience in direct care to individuals with IDD preferred.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification.
• Ability to pass Criminal Background check.
• Driver license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with daily living activities for safety and comfort.
• Provide personal care and hygiene support as needed.
• Assist with home management tasks and community activities.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and eating.
• Support mobility and light exercise as directed.
• Document resident notes and medication administration accurately.
• Maintain infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
