Abound Health is seeking Caregivers/DSPs to provide Community Living & Supports, Supported Employment, Day Support, and Supported Living Services. Flexible PT and FT hours available; drivers with reliable transportation encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• CPR/First Aid Certification Training is provided by company.

Responsibilities

• Promote client outcomes in behavioral, social, and vocational realms.
• Assist client participation in leisure/recreational activities.
• Maintain a schedule of services/activities in a treatment plan and report on health/safety objectives.
• Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregiver.
• Complete and submit documentation and payroll data according to deadlines.
• Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development activities.
• Ability to work independently in the community and/or client’s home.
• Address personal care needs when necessary.

• Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregiver
• Complete and submit documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines
• Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development activities
• Ability to achieve competency in required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Ability to work independently in the community and/or the client’s home
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary, based on individual client needs
• Passion and experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) is preferred

Signing Bonus Details

• $333 paid out after working 90 days with an average of 20 hours per week
• $333 paid out after working 6 months (180 days) with an average of 20 hours per week
• $334 paid out after working 1 year (365 days) with an average of 20 hours per week
• Applicant cannot have been employed by Abound Health (or any of our newly acquired companies) in the past 18 months
• Signing bonus not applicable for Residential Services
• Employees hired as Relative as Providers (RAPs) are not eligible for the Signing Bonus
