RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional in Deep Gap/Ridgecrest, NC. The role provides community-based support to individuals with disabilities and mental health or substance use challenges, helping with daily activities and advocacy.

The position involves assisting with personal care, transportation, and community integration, while promoting independence and effective communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pre-employment screening required.
• Physical demands: lifting up to 40 lbs, ability to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb and stoop, stand and walk.

Responsibilities

• Provide education on human, legal, and civil rights.
• Promote healthy living and prevent illness and accidents.
• Increase self-advocacy and support individual choice and decision-making.
• Accompany people to work, the movies, concerts, shopping, and other community outings.
