Job summary

Griswold Home Care Medina is looking for part-time daytime, early evening and weekend caregivers to support seniors at home in Medina, OH. Shifts are available immediately with competitive hourly pay.

You will provide daily living assistance, meal support, companionship, light housekeeping, and transportation help, with paid training and opportunities for continuing education. Flexible schedules and weekly pay are cornerstones of the role.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1+ yrs of caregiving, but training is available.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass an OH background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs.
• Provide companionship and engage in conversations.
• Assist with light housekeeping and household tasks.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands.
• Remind clients about self-administered medications.

As a Caregiver You Will:

• Assist with activities of daily living; such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
• Assist with light housekeeping and household tasks
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands
• Remind clients about self-administered medications

Job Requirements:

• Preferred 1+ yrs of caregiving, but we are willing to train you.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Compassionate, dependable and committed to helping others
