Job summary

Home Matters Caregiving in Dallas is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our in-home team. You will deliver high-quality client care, follow care plans, and document daily activities to ensure continuity of service.

This role emphasizes building strong relationships with clients and reliable, flexible support for seniors. Starting pay is $14/hour, with potential $15–$17 depending on experience and client needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply).
• Must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience with the senior population.
• Must have sufficient communication and language skills to effectively perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Execute client care plans and document daily activities.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Provide clients with household assistance: food preparation, monitoring home safety, laundering, light housekeeping.
• Provide clients with personal care assistance: hygienic care, mobility assistance, medication assistance, companionship.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Schedule: Consistent and flexible shifts (WEEKENDS ONLY)
• Experience: One year of formal caregiving experience in senior care

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to lift 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movements

COMPENSATION:

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Starting at $15-$17/hr, — pay range reflects caregiver experience and client care requirements.
