Job summary

Amada Senior Care is hiring compassionate caregivers in Wallis, TX to provide non-medical, in-home care to seniors, including veterans. Caregivers help clients stay comfortable, safe, independent, and engaged in their homes, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for meaningful, purposeful work.

Caregivers earn $12-$16 per hour and receive benefits such as health, vision & dental insurance, PTO, referral bonuses, recognition programs, flexible scheduling, and Next Day Pay.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Willing to drive within a 25-mile radius of home.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful companionship to elderly clients in their homes.
• Assist with personal hygiene and basic daily needs (showering, bathing, toileting, dressing).
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Help with mobility inside and outside the home (appointments, walks).
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Complete client shopping or accompany clients while they shop.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties.
• Report unusual incidents and respond to emergencies.
• Provide activities and support essential to daily living.

MAKE AN IMPACT EVERY DAY

As a caregiver, you’ll provide personalized, in-home support that helps elderly clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing meaningful companionship to elderly clients in their homes
