Job summary

Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide high-quality, non-medical in-home care to seniors, including veterans, in the Houston area. You will build trust, support independence, and help clients feel safe in their homes.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, medication reminders, mobility support, meal planning, light housekeeping, and documenting changes. We offer training, next-day pay, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
• Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience
• Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of your home address
• Ability and willingness to work with both male and female clients
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Compassionate, dependable, and supportive demeanor

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support to elderly clients in their homes
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, showering, toileting, and dressing
• Reminding clients to take prescribed medications
• Assisting with mobility inside and outside the home, including walking and appointments
• Planning and preparing meals
• Completing grocery shopping or accompanying clients as needed
• Performing light housekeeping duties
• Observing, reporting, and responding appropriately to changes in condition or emergencies
• Encouraging and assisting with activities essential to daily living

COMPENSATION
