Job summary

BrightStar Care of Sugar Land is seeking a Part Time Caregiver/CNA in Waller, TX for day shifts (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:00 PM-6:00 PM). Responsibilities include light personal care and accompanying clients to appointments. CPR and TB tests are required or can be obtained on hire. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid CPR certificate with hands-on training (can be obtained on hire).
• Negative TB skin test within the last 12 months (can be obtained on hire).
• Valid Driver’s License with auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
• HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality.
• Eligible status on AHCA Level 2 background check.
• Negative drug screen and motor vehicle background screening.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively.
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping and personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers.
• Accompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits.

• Light housekeeping and personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• Accompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
