Job summary

Caring Senior Service is hiring compassionate and dependable caregivers to support residents in an independent living community in South Austin. This role involves non-medical assistance to keep residents safe, comfortable, and independent.

We offer 1st/2nd shift and weekend opportunities, plus part-time and PRN options. Ideal candidates are active, patient, and collaborative, with a passion for senior care and helping residents thrive.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Caregiving experience strongly preferred.
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or similar senior care experience is a plus.
• Experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
• Comfortable assisting residents with restroom needs and mobility.
• Able to remain active and walk throughout the community during your shift.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.

• Providing medication reminders.

Caring Senior Service is hiring compassionate and dependable Caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs to support residents at an independent living community in South Austin.

This is a great opportunity for experienced caregivers who enjoy working with seniors in a community setting while helping residents remain safe, comfortable, and independent.

We currently have opportunities available for 1st shift, 2nd shift, and weekend caregivers.

What You’ll Do

Caregivers provide supportive, non-medical assistance to residents throughout the community. Responsibilities may include:

• Providing medication reminders
• Completing resident wellness and safety checks
• Assisting residents with restroom needs
• Providing standby assistance with mobility
• Escorting residents to meals in the dining area
• Escorting residents to activities and community events
• Providing companionship and social interaction
• Assisting residents safely throughout the facility
• Observing residents for changes in condition or behavior
• Communicating concerns to the appropriate team members
• Helping residents maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life

This position is ideal for caregivers who enjoy staying active, interacting with multiple residents, and working as part of a supportive senior care team.

Caregiver Qualifications
