A licensed home care agency is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides to help clients with special needs in New York. Responsibilities include providing personal assistance and companionship, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. Candidates should hold valid certifications, including CPR and possess good communication skills. This role offers flexible hours and immediate openings, and applicants will undergo a background screening.

Powell Supportive Services, Inc. is a licensed private home care agency licensed by the State of Florida. We service the DD Waiver, ADA Waiver, Cystic Fibrosis Waiver, TBI Waiver and PAC Waiver. The office is open five days a week and we provide on call service 24/7. Our staff includes experienced Personal Care Aides, Home Health Aides, Massage Therapists, Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses. We assist the elderly and adults with various disabilities to remain in their homes and Assisted Living Facilities.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant/ Home Health Aide certification valid in the state of Florida
• Level II Background screening
• Current CPR and 1st AID certification
• Caring companionship & conversation
• Transportation (personal errands, medical appointments, etc.)
• General assistance and/or monitoring with walking, dressing, bathing, etc.

Additional Information

Sympathetic attitude toward care of disabled or sick

Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions

Evidence of maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands

Good verbal and written communications skills

Shall have a criminal history check conducted prior to being offered any position within this agency.
