Job summary

Bright Home Health is actively seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our growing team in the Tulsa area of Oklahoma. The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide multiple levels of support to clients in a one-on-one setting.

The role requires a valid certification and willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends. We proudly serve the Oklahoma state with supervision from registered nurses and adhere to equal opportunity

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve skills.
• Able to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.
• Compassionate and supportive in all interactions.
• Open to different shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Prior healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care experience (min 1 year).
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly or post-surgical clients.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications and assist as needed.
• Help with mobility around the home and accompany appointments.
• Assist with personal care and daily hygiene routines.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients to shops.
• Perform housekeeping duties as required.
• Report unusual incidents promptly and respond to emergencies.
• Offer daily living activities and support with meals and tasks.

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
